How could a minor be approved for asset verification if they aren't of legal age to enter into business contracts? That sounds like FRAUD to me. I did my diligence, and was misled (by way of withholding a HUGE piece of information).

Is there any recourse for us that got burned here?

Assets can be defined as the following,

"A burst asset is basically a token to represent anything the asset issuer deems to be of value so that it can be traded, common examples of such assets include shares in the following: mining pools, retirement funds, crypto mining rigs, crypto gambling sites and silver investments." Wiki

It's a bit of a gray area I think. A whole new set of laws and regulations would come into play if assets were officially labeled as "shares". I'm not sure we want that. lol

Great so what do you know about international business laws. A minor cannot partake in any kind of international trade of any sort. For us meaning the entire crpto currency world is starting to be recognized to be used in international trade in several countries. Alright, so here's my point of view.

I understand that being a minor may be a problem, but all I am trying to do is make us all some money, not just myself, but the Burst community also. Even before it was known that I am a minor, my asset was still not accepted.

You can all choose whether or not to invest in anything in the Burst world, but I want to say that all of my shares in my second asset sold out. I am going to make them profit and continue on the other site which seems to actually give people a chance, whether you like it or not.

Even if it is against any laws, I am a minor and according to information I have discovered recently I will not legally be responsible for any of this, the investors will. This is why I want to keep the law out of this, so I can make profit for my investors, pay them back and we can all walk away from this happily.

If we really want to talk about the law here I never gave anyone permission to use my face, name, or YouTube channel which breaches my privacy, not to mention any others that may have been mentioned/showed in the video. It's especially bad if it breaches the privacy of a MINOR.

I am not looking for trouble.

None of this seems fair to me, and I'm not willing to steal people's money.

Basically I have worked so hard and all I get back is a huge slap in the face, just because I am a minor.

But I guess what's done is done, now we all have to live with our decisions.

Including the one I made to stick with my assets. It feels like I have no one backing me here,

I do understand that you seem like this is not fair, But I will make you aware now that your statement shows that you are not mature in anyway. Yes you can be held legally responsible because you perpetrated acts that are well spelled out in the internet laws that are upheld also as far as invading your privacy you need to realize that by agreeing to the agreement you made with You Tube you have put yourself into the category of were actors and actress's are in. Any person may re-show your channel show and mention your name and age in anyway that is not of an illegal act such as trying to sell your info that would violate International child endangerment laws. On top of all of that you stated that you will do this even if it is against any laws. I was trying to help you but you are showing that you are truly not willing to do things right. MisterBurst it may not be my place but I am asking that this person and his IP address be banned from this forum permanently so that we protect ourselves and all of the hard work that is being put into this forum by yourself and others to make this form a great place to come to.

Ok do you see what you just did there? You basically admitted that you are a minor, and if anything happens, you are home free, and WE the Adult investors WILL BE responsible for anything/everything. So with that again, why should we invest in your asset if there is a chance we can get in trouble for dealing with a minor? Please don't answer with something along the lines of "...to make money." Then you follow up with saying that you want to keep the law out of this. Red Flag in my statement.

Then you are bring up breach of privacy.... well you put yourself on youtube for the world to see. Was your channel/video private? If it was private, did you give Adam permission/an invite to view your private channel/video? If you gave him permission to view your private channel and he used an image/video from it, at least I can see some concern there. But I ask again, was it a private or public channel/video? Adam said it was a PUBLIC youtube channel so.... can you confirm this?

First I have to say congrats to these guys for even getting this far with they're assets at 15 and 16. When I was that age (around the time the first CD burners came out) I was working as a PC tech and burning music CD's on the side to make money. I think its clear that these guys were just trying to make a bit of extra cash ( they both used they're full names) and to demonize them would be somewhat harsh.

The problem is if a child gets into a bar underage the Bar is at fault and not so much the child. This could be a bigger issue if it reached the wrong people. I think being transparent with these kids would be the best way to defuse the situation. If they understand why they're being shut down and the risk involved from the Burst administration side. They should understand. The money is gone, let them keep it.

whats funny is on the other forum. we have started a poll to vote for whether users should go through an age verification process.

on this vote they gave the option for age verification is not needed!. and id go as far to say that most of the users who have gone for that option are underage or cannot see the legal minefield that this situation is.

in those votes for age verification is not needed is rapid-fireman. who set up an asset. then a few months later his dad said this has to stop.

this caused the asset holders to lose a lot of money.

personally i dont think this should even be a vote.

technically this decision is above the community. and we should follow every other piece of legal documentation on minors setting up businesses or buying shares. because if it ever got legal its going to follow the suit of current laws that are currently in practice. they aint going to say. yeah well. lets let the little tykes handle 10's of thousands of other peoples money. when they cant be held liable for stuff this serious. especially when theirs no warnings telling them of the consequences of there actions.

also you can generally trade BTC and altcoins at any age. Some exchanges require you to accept TOS, where it's written that you have to be over certain age, but it won't really matter to them if you're not. The only problem you might have is if the exchange gets hacked or loses your funds, because in such case they could ask for an ID and bank account/ address to repay you. Also if they lose your money it will be hard to get it back (TOS violation on your part).

there must be a legal reason for them having this in their TOS.

with these options i still feel the option of under 18 years old and only with consent being the only option here. otherwise we could get 12-13 year olds without there parents consent. have a situation like what happened to RapidFireMan
