BURST Nation News Desk
For immediate release.
Corruption in the cryptocurrency community is not something new, it is rampant and last night, as some unsuspecting members of a discussion forum called Burst-Team were told by the Administrator that they should sell off any BURST Asset that is not actively promoting their asset on his forum.

To the shock and dismay of the handful of active members there were questions raised about the totalitarian statement made by the forum Administrator who is known by his online moniker "Haitch" and has been quoted as saying "I am the forum GOD" among other concerning statements that has created discomfort for many who use the site as a source of information relating to BURST. In several instances where a moderator or regular member has addressed the questionably offensive actions of Haitch, they have had their posts removed swiftly and in some cases entire discussion threads locked so any further discussion can not take place. The most notable to date being BURST Development Team lead, the man most know as the friendly face of BURST.
"This type of Totalitarian regime behavior has no place in the BURST community" says one prominent member who has permanently left the burst-team forum, adding "I got into crypto because of it's decentralized fashion, Haitch wants to centralize and penalize anyone who does not agree with his plan" Thankfully Crypto is decentralized and will always remain that way, when it comes to BURST, the most notable is the fact that all transactions take place on the blockchain, sending and receiving coins, trading on the BURST Asset Exchange, crowdfunding and smart contracts, all created and executed in a fully decentralized manner.
The BURST community has seen incredible growth since it's inception three years ago. Constant development of innovative tools and features that serve the end user to ever expanding online communities such as Reddit, Twitter, YouTube and BURSTNation.com being the most recent addition to further increase the social presence of everything that is BURST.
We took a closer look into the Burst-Team forum to see just what may have been a precursor if any, to the recent events that have cause several prominent members to leave the community and conduct business and pleasure else ware. Our findings were quite shocking. While seeing many posts from members that did not agree with Haitch's disruptive and destructive stance being deleted, we did take note that special treatment was being given to a few Asset issuers, one of those who is also on the forum staff as an appointed moderator was challenged to prove his claims of his asset were not inflated to get as much money from the community as possible, who later cracked under pressure and publicly admitted to lying to the investors by inflating the numbers of hard drives he had mining while making payouts to the holders that did not match the earnings at all. This is dangerously similar to how ponzi schemes work. One thing the BURST community should clearly not support or endorse. However, Haitch deleted many postings from others in the community that spoke out on this particular asset issuer and showed his public support for it while encouraging his members to continue to invest into it.
Above, a screenshot of the asset issuer admiting he lied about his asset, inflating the actual holdings. Also take note of the "MOD" status on his name, indicating he is a forum moderator (staff) as well.
To add to the alarming discoveries that were made while perusing the Burst-team forum, it was found that Haitch has been actively encouraging the members of his forum who are asset issuers to send him full copies of their official government issues identification which he claims are needed to keep the community safe. To date, he has successfully convinced a great number of individuals to hand over their full private details that he claims to keep filed away in a physical location. Some may be comfortable with this process, however after tracing the location, one member had posted findings on the forum that the computer servers running the Burst-Team forums, leased or owned by Haitch are in a small facility that houses a firm who provides a court system data mining service to legal professionals. Keeping the community safe suddenly became a cause for concern with such disturbing findings.

Upon this information coming to light, several members including high profile ones, issued legal and public requests to have their private documents destroyed and not further kept or used in any way.

Is crypto turning into the wild west? Is there any place for such questionable actions being carried out and enforced by those claiming to be leaders in the community? How do you feel about this matter?
